The Firm

PB Architects (formerly known as Patterson Bigosinski Architects Inc.) was founded in 1972. From the beginning, the firm has been responsible for a wide variety of projects, large and small, simple and complex.

In 1986, the firm was joined by Jacek Bigosinski, AIA, and in 1992 he became a partner with Howard Patterson. Mr. Bigosinski has been responsible for all of the design work, CADD management and day to day operations since 1995.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Bigosinski is a full time tenured professor at Norwalk Community College, where he is the head of the Architecture, Interior Design and Construction Programs.

In 2005, after 33 years, Mr. Patterson retired from the practice. Mr. Bigosinski has assumed full ownership of the office and continues working hard on providing full service architectural design.

In January 2006, the office moved from Darien to Rowayton; only 6 minutes away and near the Rowayton Train Station.

We continue to offer the same (if not better!) service and hope to be at our new location for another 20 years.
